Before the advert

The litter and home are checked

A puppy listing cannot go live only because a seller uploaded a chip number. Doggos connects the identity, premises, dam, litter and records first.

During your visit

See the puppy with their dam

Meet at the checked premises and watch the litter interact naturally. Delivery, a service station or a different address breaks the evidence chain.

Puppy buying questions

Before you choose a listing

How do I buy a puppy safely in Ireland?

Research the adult breed, check the seller and relevant registrations, visit the premises, meet the puppy with their dam, match the microchip and records, and do not pay before the visit.

What does Doggos check on a puppy listing?

Doggos checks the seller, Irish premises, dam and litter relationship, microchip records and source-appropriate health evidence before a breeder listing can appear.

Can a puppy be sold without a microchip in Ireland?

Irish Government guidance says puppies must be microchipped by 12 weeks or before permanently leaving the land or premises where they were born, whichever happens first.
